The Arden

The article hopes to serve as an example to share the knowledge of Classical Feng Shui principles that could be used to assess the Feng Shui quality of the property with its environment.

The Arden Residences
Using The Arden as an illustration, this residential development can be considered well-located in its greater external environment in Period 9 (九运). It's observed that higher ground can be seen in its South. This denotes that the residents in this development could prosper in the next 20 years, and perhaps beyond.

In its immediate vicinity, it is also observed that the road junction of Phoenix Road and Choa Chu Kang Road in its North can serve as the Qi Mouth (气口) of this area. Generally, this is a good Feng Shui feature to foster more wealth opportunities, and better career advancement for some of the residents here, based on a land assessment technique with reference to the Qi Mouth.

On the other hand, there is also a concern that might reduce the Feng Shui of this development. The road on its right and alongside the development, leading to the main road is relatively steep. Depending on its steepness, it may drain away the energy from this precinct, and this may also not be beneficial to woman residents as they could be more prone to encountering challenging endeavours. So, beware.
